The CALL in Southeast Arkansas has received a $3,000 grant from Clearwater Paper Corporation to help provide therapeutic resources for children in foster care across the region.
The organization announced the grant Tuesday, Oct. 6, saying the funding will help ensure needed resources remain available throughout the year for children and families impacted by foster care.
According to The CALL, the grant will assist local foster and adoptive families in meeting the sensory, emotional and behavioral needs of children in their care.
“We are grateful recipients of a recent Clearwater Paper Corporation grant to help ensure we have the therapeutic resources on hand to support children in foster care in Southeast Arkansas all year long,” the organization said in announcing the contribution.
The CALL works with churches and communities across Arkansas to support foster and adoptive families and help meet the needs of children in the state’s foster care system.
Representatives of Clearwater Paper and The CALL gathered for a check presentation marking the $3,000 contribution.
The organization described the grant as an investment in its mission of bringing “a future and a hope” to local children in foster care.
