HARRISON, Ark. — Warren Lumberjack golfer Rett McGaha capped off his 2026 season with an impressive performance at the Class 4A Boys State Golf Championship, shooting a one-under-par 69 to finish fourth individually at Harrison Country Club.

McGaha was one of just four golfers to finish under par in the championship, earning a spot on the 2026 All-State team.

The Warren standout finished only three strokes behind individual state champion Carter Pulley of Malvern, who captured medalist honors with a four-under-par 66. Harrison’s Clark Hubbard finished second with a 67, while Mena’s Rich Davis took third with a 68.

McGaha’s fourth-place finish put him among the best golfers in Class 4A, providing a strong conclusion to a season in which he represented Warren on courses across Arkansas.

The championship also featured several notable performances from other South Arkansas golfers.

Stuttgart’s Bradley Benton finished in a five-way tie for fifth place, shooting a two-over-par 72. Benton joined three golfers from Harrison and Magnolia’s Knox Stephens at that mark, with all five earning All-State recognition.

Monticello’s Parker Hill also secured All-State honors, finishing tied for 10th with a four-over-par 74. Hill shared that position with Charlie Baxter of Pulaski Academy.

Harrison claimed the Class 4A team state championship with a combined score of 211, securing the Goblins’ first boys golf state title since 2015.

Monticello finished as state runner-up with a team score of 225, just one stroke ahead of third-place Pulaski Academy at 226. Magnolia followed in fourth place at 230, with Mena rounding out the top five at 234.
