MONTICELLO, Ark. — The University of Arkansas at Monticello football team returns home for week six of the 2026 season and is scheduled to host Oklahoma Baptist University. This Saturday’s game will be the first 2:00 p.m. kickoff in Monticello this season.
Coming off a tough overtime 40-34 road loss to Southern Nazarene in week five, the Weevils are looking to bounce back as they return home to face Oklahoma Baptist University. UAM came up short in last season’s meeting, with a close game ending 17-14. With another chance to defend their home turf, the Weevils aim to build momentum and get back in the win column.

THE MATCHUP
The University of Arkansas at Monticello Football team hosts Oklahoma Baptist University at Willis “Convoy” Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium for week six, sponsored by Ryburn Motor Company and Commercial Bank.
LAST MEETING
Arkansas-Monticello fell short to Oklahoma Baptist during the 2025 season, losing 17-14 on the road. The Boll Weevils put up 412 yards of total offense, scoring two touchdowns in that contest. Tavion Faulk led the air attack and the ground, connecting with 20-of-32 attempts for 254 yards and two touchdowns, and rushing for a net of 56 yards, with a long of 19 yards and a touchdown.
All-TIME SERIES
UAM sits even in the all-time series, 5-5, alternating wins with OBU every season since 2021. The Boll Weevils are 4-0 at home against Oklahoma Baptist, with the last win in Monticello coming in 2024 on a 24-20 victory. The Weevils average 30.4 points against the Bison, with the program’s highest offensive push coming in 2017, when Monticello won 64-21 in Shawnee. The victory was also the largest margin of victory for UAM over OBU in the 10-game history between the programs.
PREGAME NOTE
The Boll Weevils will host the Bison of Oklahoma Baptist in week six. Monticello sits fourth in the GAC in scoring and fourth in total offense, averaging 27.4 points per contest and 2,015 yards of offense on the season. The Boll Weevils landed sixth in the conference in rushing, posting 928 total rushing yards on the year. Defensively, UAM ranked eleventh in total defense, surrendering 460.4 yards per contest, and ninth in scoring defense, allowing 33 points per game. Offensively, running back Dave Alston leads the running game, averaging 112.60 yards a contest. Michael Lott and DT McCoy are the top targets in the receiving game for UAM, with Lott totaling 240 yards on 17 receptions and McCoy totaling 174 yards on 13 receptions. Braylon Henry leads in rushing touchdowns with 5 on the season.

ON-FIELD ACCESS
Authorized UAM personnel and standby medical staff are the only ones with on-field access during the Weevil Football games. All other unauthorized personnel are required to stay within the stands. The following are prohibited at Willis “Convoy” Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium:

RESTROOMS
Restrooms for all fans are on the opposite side of the UAM Indoor Practice Facility from the field. There are also portable bathrooms behind the UAM student section on the south side of the home stands.
