MONTICELLO, Ark. — The University of Arkansas at Monticello football team returned to Willis “Convoy” Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium on Saturday afternoon for the 2026 Homecoming game with Great American Conference member Oklahoma Baptist University. Despite producing more than 500 yards of total offense, the Weevils fell to the Bison, 34-20.
Arkansas-Monticello produced a season-high 514 yards of total offense, including 342 yards through the air and 172 on the ground. The Weevils picked up 28 first downs and averaged 6.4 yards per play.
Quarterback Drew Forkner completed 33-of-47 passes for 342 yards and a touchdown. DT McCoy led the receiving corps with a season-high 10 receptions for 82 yards, including a 21-yard long. Isaiah Roberts followed with four receptions for 66 yards, highlighted by a 53-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter.
Dave Alston led the Weevils on the ground with 96 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries, averaging an impressive 8.7 yards per attempt. His performance included a game-long 45-yard rush that helped set up UAM’s second touchdown of the afternoon. Braylon Henry added 40 yards and a touchdown on 14 attempts, while Forkner contributed 37 rushing yards on five carries.
Defensively, Cayden Dominey led Arkansas-Monticello with eight total tackles, including six solo stops. Rashaad Jackson followed with seven tackles and a tackle for loss, while Johnny Richardson recorded six tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss.
On special teams, Charles Stinson converted two of his three PAT attempts, with his first attempt blocked in the opening quarter. Lance Resch handled punting duties for Arkansas-Monticello, totaling 79 yards on two punts with a long of 49 yards.

– 12:37 – OBU | Oklahoma Baptist opened the scoring with a 3-yard passing touchdown to take an early 7-0 lead.
– 10:56 – UAM | Arkansas-Monticello answered immediately with a four-play, 75-yard scoring drive. Forkner found Roberts for a 53-yard touchdown reception, putting the Weevils on the board. The PAT attempt was blocked, leaving UAM trailing 7-6.
– 09:40 – OBU | The Bison responded with a 9-yard rushing touchdown, extending their advantage to 14-6.
Second Quarter
– 03:34 – OBU | Oklahoma Baptist connected on a 40-yard field goal to extend its lead to 17-6.
Third Quarter
– 09:29 – OBU | Oklahoma Baptist opened the second half with a 12-yard rushing touchdown, pushing its advantage to 24-6.
– 08:19 – UAM | The Weevils wasted little time responding, putting together a four-play, 75-yard touchdown drive in just 1:10. Dave Alston finished the drive with a 6-yard touchdown run, and Stinson converted the PAT to cut the deficit to 24-13.
– 04:43 – OBU | The Bison connected on a 43-yard field goal to push the lead to 27-13.
Fourth Quarter
– 14:48 – OBU | Oklahoma Baptist opened the final quarter with a 77-yard passing touchdown to make it a 34-13 game.
– 03:07 – UAM | Arkansas-Monticello put together its longest scoring drive of the afternoon, marching 80 yards on 14 plays. Braylon Henry finished the drive with a 1-yard touchdown run, and Stinson converted the PAT to bring the score to 34-20.
