WOODLAWN, Ark. — Woodlawn High School senior Ace Culliford has enlisted in the Arkansas Army National Guard, according to an announcement from the Guard’s recruiting team.
Culliford enlisted as a 31B Military Police Officer, beginning his military service while continuing his education.
As part of his enlistment, Culliford will be eligible for the National Guard Tuition Waiver, which covers 100 percent of qualifying tuition costs, along with GI Bill educational benefits of $508 per month.
The Arkansas Army National Guard congratulated Culliford on his decision to serve, expressing pride in his dedication to his nation, state, and community.
Culliford is currently a senior in the Woodlawn School District in Cleveland County.
