The Hermitage School District has expressed its appreciation to Commercial Bank for its support of the district’s 2026 Homecoming festivities, recognizing the bank’s contributions to students, staff, and the community.

In a statement released Friday, October 23, the district thanked Commercial Bank for providing meals for students, coaches, and administrators, as well as donating two Commercial Bank Hermit Football tents displayed during the Homecoming games.

The district emphasized that the bank’s involvement extends well beyond the Homecoming celebration, recognizing its continued investment in the school and surrounding community.

“Your generosity, time, and continued investment in our school and community mean more than words can express. We are especially grateful for the many opportunities created through the dedication and hard work of Commercial Bank’s leadership and employees,” the district stated.

The district also recognized several members of the bank’s leadership, including Bennie Ryburn III, Chairman and CEO; Todd D. Smith, President and COO; Bryan McDuffie, Chief Lending Officer; and Nick Temple, Senior Vice President of IT Operations & Security.

Employees at Commercial Bank locations in Monticello, Warren, and Hermitage were also thanked for their contributions of time, resources, and support.

“Your support goes far beyond banking — it demonstrates what it means to be a true community partner!” the district stated.

The message concluded by thanking Commercial Bank for helping make Homecoming a memorable occasion and for its continued commitment to the district’s students and future.

“Thank you for helping make Homecoming special and for continuing to show up for our students, school, and community. We are proud to have partners who believe in our children and the future of Hermitage School District.”
