HERMITAGE, Ark. — A group of Hermitage School District students recently traveled to Magnolia to participate in Fields of Faith, a faith-based gathering organized through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).
During the event, students heard personal testimonies from fellow students and a message from former NFL football player Chuck Hatchett of Connecticut.
According to the Hermitage School District, 34 individuals made professions of faith during the gathering.
The event also provided Hermitage students with an opportunity to connect with students from other schools while participating in an evening centered on Christian faith and fellowship.
School officials expressed appreciation for the opportunity their FCA members had to attend the event and spend time with students from neighboring communities.
Hermitage students interested in becoming involved with FCA are encouraged to watch for announcements from Coach Hilliard or Mrs. Hilliard regarding upcoming meetings, activities, and opportunities to participate.
