Bradley County Judge Klay McKinney present Tuesday Rotary program

The Rotary Club of Warren met Tuesday, March 8 at First United Methodist church with Rotarian Dr. Tracy Tucker presenting the program to the group. Her program was Bradley County Judge Klay McKinney who spoke about some general county news but focused mostly on the installation of broadband internet throughout a good portion of the county through the county’s partnership with South Arkansas Telephone Company (SATCO). Judge McKinney stated that they had secured grant money for this project and talked about the progress they’ve already made on it. He also thanked SATCO for being great to work with and spoke highly of the company. He mentioned how important it was to get broadband internet to all parts of the county and how it can help promote new businesses and people to the area. In closing, he McKinney touched on the renovations of the Bradley County Courthouse’s tower and the progress being made with that project. Additionally, the Rotary Club of Warren agreed to sponsor one boy and one girl to Arkansas Boys State and Arkansas Girls State, respectively.
