Thirty-two members of the Bradley County Retired Teachers and Employees Association met in Warren, Monday, May 2, at the First United Methodist Church. It was a regular monthly meeting. The group
conducted an auction of various items to raise money for student scholarships to assist those wishing to go into teaching. Items such as cookies, cakes, and gift packages were available for purchase by way of a silent auction. The item that sold for the highest price was an autographed football signed by Tennessee Titan Treylon Burks.
The retired educators continue to contribute to our community and enjoy each other’s fellowship. They welcome other retired school employees to join the organization.
