Sharon Denise Hardaway McCoy, 58, of Little Rock, formerly of Warren, died March 26, 2022. Born September 19, 1963, she was a daughter of the late Victory Hardaway and Arlean Tenner Green. She was a graduate of Warren High School class of 1982.
Sharon worked as a cook for several businesses, retiring from Baptist Parkway Health Center at an early age, due to her health. She had a passion for cooking, especially sweets. She also decorated cakes, made wreaths, and decorative whatnots for your home.
Sharon loved her sons, grandchildren, spending time with her family, dancing, fashion and braiding her hair.
Sharon is survived by her sons, Roderick McCoy of Malvern, Jimmy McCoy of Gould, Christopher James of Atlanta, GA.; grandchildren, Taliyah McCoy, Ronisha McCoy, Zaniah Hudson, Chrisette James, Chasity James, Carryion James, Semaj James, Rhyleigh James; siblings, Kevin Tenner (Vera) of Monticello, Victory Hardaway (Nadja) of Fordyce, Terry Hardaway (Shekira), Juan Hardaway (Sondra) both of Killeen, TX., Kerwin Hardaway of Malvern, Kalilah Hardaway Baines (James) of Maumelle; aunt, Charlotte Tenner Brown; uncles, Robert Tenner, Roosevelt Tenner, Dwain Tenner, James Tenner, Melvin Tenner; family sidekicks, ShaToya, Gerald, Demetri, Marcus, LaPorsha, Briana, ShaMikka; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 2 at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Warren with Elder Melvin Tenner officiating, Rev. Eddie Hampton Sr. is the pastor. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Warren. Arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home.
