Tony Cathey announced he would seek the position of Justice of the Peace, District 5, on the Bradley County Quorum Court.
“I have lived in Bradley County all my life. I grew up here, made my living here and my wife and I have raised our children here. I understand the needs of our rural community. I know we need to work to find ways to keep our current businesses viable and attract new ones. I want to work with our county officials and our state and federal legislators to find opportunities for Bradley County to grow. We need to show that we can provide a workforce for their companies as well. If elected to the Bradley County Quorum Court I will use my many years of business experience to help ensure a good future for all of the people in Bradley County.”
Cathey has owned and operated numerous businesses in Bradley County over the years, including South Ark Auto Auction for 35 years. He currently operates Tony Cathey Auctions, Tony Cathey Realty and co-owner of South Ark Auto Sales. Cathey currently serves on the board of C&L Electric Coop representing the people of Bradley County and a past board member of Arkansas Auctioneers Association. He and his wife, Kim, also operate a cattle farm. They attend the First United Methodist in Warren and are the parents of four children and have 10 grandchildren.
I would appreciate your vote and support in the upcoming election.
