Moro Bay State Park’s Paul Butler presents Library program to summer reading students

Park Ranger Paul Butler from Moro Bay State Park was the presenter for Mrs. Christy’s group, ages three to six this week during the Warren Branch Library’s summer reading program. He brought Arby the Alligator and all the kids got the opportunity to pet him. They learned some really cool facts like that the top two animals that have the strongest bite force are both in Arkansas. Those two animals are not sharks, but alligators and alligator snapping turtles. Ranger Butler shared a variety of animal furs and talked about how all creatures are part of the circle of life. Everyone had a great time! Alligator Tail Take & Makes were available to take home for more fun at home.
