Linda Marlene Ellis, age 68 of El Dorado, AR passed away August 16, 2022 at Gardner Nursing and Rehabilitation in Star City, AR. She was born July 19, 1954 in Murphysboro, IL to the late Forrest Ellis and Anna Mae Whelchel Ellis. She was a member of Pentecostal Church of God in Warren, AR.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by brothers; Tom Ellis and Willard Ellis and sisters; Dorris Pizarroa, Betty O’Guinn and Barbara Ellis.
Survivors include her son; Frankie Julian of Sedalia, MO, daughter; Maria Whitehead of Rogers, AR, God-daughter; Johnna Sue McMurry of Banks, AR, brother; Elmer Ellis of Virginia, IL, sisters; Debbie Worthen and spouse James of Monticello, AR and Judy Ellis of Murphysboro, IL and grandchildren; Emily McDougald, Maddison McDougald, Sarah McDougald, Landon Martian and Leona Martin.
The family would like a say a special thanks to Johnna Sue McMurry and Reba Worthen for the wonderful care and all the love shown to Linda and her family.
Graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Gravelridge Cemetery. Burial will be in Gravelridge Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Gravelridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made to Frazer’s Funeral Home; P.O.
