About Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Family Services
Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Family Services began in Monticello, Arkansas as a day nursery in 1910 & as a residential home in 1923. Vera Lloyd continues to provide a nurturing, healing environment for youth in need. Vera Lloyd’s 45- acre campus is home to approximately 125 youth per year ages 6 to 21. All of our
youth are in need of healing from abuse, neglect, abandonment and/or risky behaviors. The compassionate staff at Vera Lloyd meets our youth where they are and provides this healing. In addition to our homes on campus, a gym, a school, computer lab, pond, pavilion and therapeutic playground help meet the educational and physical needs of our youth.
