Nona Proctor Watson Dumas

Nona Proctor Watson Dumas, 82, passed away August 26, 2022. She is survived by her daughter Libba Watson of Hot Springs, AR, her son and daughter in law Frank and Jennifer Watson of Memphis, TN, her granddaughter Julia Watson of Memphis, TN, and grandson Will Watson of Memphis, TN. 

Nona grew up in Batesville, AR, and Little Rock, AR. She graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1957. Nona went on to earn a Liberal Arts degree in Art at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville in 1961.

Nona was a talented artist and an interesting career that included owning an advertising firm and owning a restaurant. She loved people and hearing their stories. She enjoyed cooking and sharing with neighbors. Nona was greatly loved and will be missed by many. 

Arrangements were under the direction of Frazer’s Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Garland County Library
