Jerry Donald “Sam” Graham, 1939-2022

Jerry Donald “Sam†Graham, age 83 of Story, AR passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2022 at Glenwood Nursing Home in Glenwood, AR. He was born on March 24, 1939 in Bradley County, AR to the late Powers and Verna Doggett Graham. He was a member of Refuge Baptist Church in Story, AR, he loved to fish and enjoyed the beautiful views from the Ouachita Mountains.

Other than his parents he is preceded in death by sons, Sammy Graham and Russell Harrod; sisters, Betty Smith and Margaret Lewis and grandchild, Charles Harrod. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife of 50 years, Marjorie Offutt Graham of Story, AR; son, Gene Harrod (Juliene) of Mt. Ida, AR; daughters, Suzanne Stinnett (Mike) of Conway, AR and Nancy Johnson (Ronnie) of Liberty, TX; daughter-in-law; Jo Ann Harrod of Story, AR; grandchildren, Jenniffer Yarberry, Wade Graham, Stephanie Hudson, Brindy Koonce, Luke Harrod and Samantha Harrod and great-grandchildren; Sarah Yarberry, Allison Yarberry, Kylie Turner, Kinley Koonce, Brayson Koonce, Kashlynn Harrod and Gracelynn Harrod.

Graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Refuge Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Refuge Baptist Church; PO Box 17, Story, AR 71970. If you do wish to send flowers, please send them to the memorial service on Sunday. The family would like to say a special thanks to Glenwood Nursing Home for the wonderful care they provided.
