WMS will celebrate Read Across America Week this week. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday we will have community members join our celebration by coming in throughout the day reading to students, speaking to our students on the importance of reading in their lives, reading books and presenting information. On Thursday we will wind up our celebration with a Reading Pep assembly at the Culture Center to celebrate Dr Seuss’s birthday. Friday we will do on-a-roll with ”reading” as our theme. Student’s may dress up as Dr. Seuss characters, book marks will be passed out, drawings for prizes will be held, book talks will be played. Everyone at WMS will celebrate Reading.
