1st Annual Hermit Daze Festival held this past weekend

WARREN, Ark. – Hermitage, Arkansas came alive on Saturday, May 20, 2023, as residents and visitors gathered for the highly anticipated 1st Annual Hermit Daze Festival. The festival offered a day filled with excitement and entertainment for people of all ages, while also aiming to raise funds for school supplies and the needs of children in the community.

The event featured an impressive array of activities and attractions that kept attendees engaged throughout the day. One of the main highlights was the sprawling collection of craft booths, showcasing the talents of local artisans and offering a wide range of unique and handmade items. With over 25 vendors participating, festival-goers had ample opportunities to browse and shop for one-of-a-kind treasures.

Sports enthusiasts also had plenty to cheer about, as the festival hosted both a softball tournament and a soccer tournament.

For those looking for a more active experience, the 5K color run/walk provided an opportunity to get moving while enjoying bursts of vibrant hues.

Families with young children flocked to the dedicated Fun Zone, where a variety of engaging activities awaited.

Adding a touch of elegance to the proceedings, the festival also featured pageants, with the charismatic Miss White River Riley Smith assuming the role of the master of ceremonies. The pageants showcased the grace and poise of the contestants.
