Rufus E. Peek, age 85 of Warren, AR passed away on August 8, 2023 at Bradley County Medical Center in Warren, AR. He was born on August 15, 1937 in Warren, AR to the late Henry Franklin Peek and Mary Jane Oakley Peek. He was an ironworker; he served two tours in the Korean War with the first one being when he was only 16 years old.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by brothers, Thomas Peek and Franklin Peek and sisters, Susie Anna Simmons, Mary Francis Taylor and Ruby Lee Lasiter.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife Jennita Woodard Peek of Warren, AR whom he married on March 20, 1963; sons, Ryan Peek and spouse Lanellia of Warren, AR and Austin Peek of Warren, AR; daughter, Carolanne Nichols and spouse James of Sheridan, AR; grandchildren, Roman E. Peek (Crystal), Kristin Guyer (Ben), Leslie Ferrell (Steven), Tarra Dean (Alex) and Justin Lee Nichols and great-grandchildren, Travis Cuthbertson, Rayden E. Peek, Jaxon Cuthbertson and Adlee Peek.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
