Lady Jacks crush Lady Bugs 15-0 Tuesday

In Tuesday night’s softball action, the Lady Jacks hosted the Lady Bugs of Fordyce in a makeup game from earlier in the season.

The Warren defense did its job by shutting down Fordyce in the top of the 1st inning. Breize Fellows led off the bottom of the inning with a single, Haven Johnson followed with an RBI double and scored on a passed ball. Ember Johnson walked, stole second, stole third, and scored on an error. Charlee Wardlaw walked, stole second, stole third, and scored on Natalie Hargrave’s RBI double. Presley Reep followed with an RBI single. Reep scored on Raeleigh Milton’s RBI double. Blythe Calloway delivered an RBI single. Breize Fellows singled. Haven Johnson doubled and scored on Ember Johnson’s sacrifice. Bailey Miller drew a walk. Natalie Hargrave doubled. Warren took an 11-0 lead.

Raeleigh Milton held the Lady Bugs to a 1-2-3 top of the 2nd inning. In the bottom of the inning, Reep singled, followed by a single by Milton. Breize Fellows walked to load the bases. Milton scored on Haven Johnson’s sacrifice. Ember Johnson had an RBI single. Wardlaw drove in 2 runs with a single. After 2 innings, Warren led 15-0.

Natalie Hargrave came in relief of Raeleigh Milton and faced 3 batters in the top.

The Lady Jacks picked up the victory 15-0. Raeleigh Milton and Natalie Hargrave combined to pitch a 1-hit shutout.

The Lady Jacks will host DeWitt on Thursday and conference rival Monticello on Friday.
