HERMITAGE, Ark. – The Hermitage School District brought the Halloween spirit to life Thursday night with its annual Hermit Fall Festival. Held at the Hermitage High School Football Field, the event was a festive celebration for the entire community, attracting families and kids eager to enjoy a night of fun and treats. The theme for this year’s festival was “Spooky Spooky School,” and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the field buzzed with excitement.
Local businesses and organizations were out in full force, setting up tents and booths for trick-or-treaters. Children, dressed in a colorful array of costumes, made their way from booth to booth, collecting candy and prizes while enjoying the seasonal decorations. The event provided a safe and fun environment for families to celebrate Halloween a little early.
One of the main attractions for the kids was the National Guard’s power punching bag booth, where young festival-goers eagerly lined up to test their strength. The bouncy house slide also proved to be a big hit, with children bouncing and sliding to their hearts’ content.
The Hermit Fall Festival has become a beloved tradition in Hermitage, providing not only Halloween fun but also an opportunity for local businesses and organizations to connect with the community. With plenty of candy, games, and entertainment, the event continues to grow in popularity. Families left with smiles and bags full of treats, already looking forward to next year’s festival.
