The South Arkansas Aces won the 2D 8U-A Fall State Baseball Championship this weekend in North Little Rock at Burns Park. Members of the team include: Ace Wagnon, Blaise Brandon, Bradley McCollum, Brooks Stanfield, Case Ashcraft, Emmett Pierce, Everett Wilkins, Gentry Fowler, Luke Pace, Maverick Brainard and Tevin Thrower. The team is coached by Kyle Wagnon, Matt Pace, Justin Ashcraft, Dalton Fowler and Thomas Stanfield.
Six members of the team were named as “Top Performers” for the weekend. They include: Brooks Stanfield, Luke Pace, Ace Wagnon, Maverick Brainard, Case Ashcraft and Blaise Brandon.
Ace Wagnon was named MVP for the tournament.
