WARREN, Ark. – 1-6-25 – The Warren Lumberjacks secured their third win of the season Monday night, defeating the Rison Wildcats 62-54 in a non-conference road matchup. The victory pushes the Lumberjacks above .500 with a 3-2 record, showcasing a strong team effort on both ends of the court.

Warren got off to a fast start, fueled by dynamic play from David Jordan, Jr. and AJ Jordan. AJ Jordan electrified the crowd with a thunderous dunk in the opening quarter, setting an early tone for the Lumberjacks. By the end of the first quarter, Warren held a 22-16 lead.

While the Lumberjacks’ shooting was inconsistent in the second quarter, they maintained control, extending their lead to 34-25 by halftime. Point guard Tramond Miller came alive in the third quarter, sinking six baskets to keep Warren ahead, though Rison managed to narrow the gap to 46-40 heading into the final frame.

In the fourth quarter, AJ Jordan’s nine points proved pivotal as the Lumberjacks fended off a late Rison push to secure the 62-54 win.
