Janet Burkhardt age 75 of Herbine, AR died Friday, January 3, 2025 at the Woods Nursing Home in Monticello, AR. She was born Monday, November 14th 1949 in Warren, AR a daughter of the late R. B. Rauls and Lucille Stewart Rauls. Janet was retired from Armstrong Flooring Company in Warren, AR with over 35 years of service in the flooring industry, she was a Baptist and a graduate of Rison Public Schools. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Peter Burkhardt whom she married May, 7th, 1982 and he died March 26th, 2009. A son Stephen McKinney also preceded her in death.
Surviving is her son, Tony Burkhardt, Warren, AR. A Daughter Stephanie McKinney Bigham and spouse Jon, Warren, AR, a daughter in law Annette McKinney, Rye, AR. A step son Michael Burkhardt and spouse Shannon, Belize. Brothers James Rauls and spouse Arlene, Lake Village, AR and Jeff Rauls, Bearden, AR. sisters Judy Penny, Clarksville, AR and Jo Ann Long and spouse Larry Don, Monticello, AR. 5 grandchildren, Dalton Bigham, Kerri McKinney, Matthew McKinney, Bella Burkhardt and Hunter Burkhardt.
Funeral services were 2:00PM Sunday, January 5th 2025 at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. John Hamaker and Rev. Chris Barnes officiating. Burial in Prosperity Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
