MONTICELLO, Ark. – The Arkansas-Monticello men’s basketball team is preparing for two GAC games this week. The Boll Weevils will travel to Southern Arkansas University on Thursday, January 23, and then host Arkansas Tech University on Saturday, January 25.
“We are playing better in stretches,” said Head Coach Chad Tapp. “We’re going to need to play better for a full 40 minutes if we’re gonna get over the hump. Last week wasn’t a great effort on our part defensively but we have improved offensively. Winning on the road is hard. Thursday will be a test. Then we get to start the second round of conference play and we need to show improvement.”
