Miranda Lasha Crain, 1974-2025

Miranda Lasha Crain “Mocha”, 50, of Warren, passed away February 1, 2025. Born April 13, 1974, to Sue Ella Crain and Tommy White.

Mocha was a devoted daughter, sister, mother and friend. She truly believed in God and did her best with a Christian heart. Her greatest achievement in life was being a mother for Jalen and Aria. Mocha was a very private person, but when she loved you, it was with her heart wide open for the world to see. She was loved by so many.

Mocha graduated from Warren High School in the class of 1994. She furthered her education at Southern Arkansas University Tech in El Dorado, AR., receiving her EMT certification, she later decided this was not the career path for her. Mocha was a hard worker no matter what the job entailed, always finding a way to provide and take care of her children. She was last employed at the Holiday Inn Express in Monticello, AR., until her health would no longer allow her to work.

Miranda was preceded in death by her parents, maternal grandparents, Lottie Hardaway and Estes Crain and paternal grandparents, Eddi B and Joseph White.

She is survived by her children, Jalen Cobb of Jonesboro, Aria Hunt of Warren; siblings, Roderick Crain (Charmaine) of Jonesboro, Robert White (Tylisa) Fort Smith, Kelsey White of Fordyce, Tajuana McCray (James) of Jacksonville, Kimberly Mahan of Bearden; granddaughter, Jayla Cobb of Topeka, Kansas; maternal aunt, Helen R. Robinson, uncle, Raymond Crain both of Fordyce; a very special partner, Dexter Daniels of Warren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial service was held February 8 at Hammons Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home.
