Hunt and Garcia Shine at Arkansas Meet of Champions

WARREN, Ark. – 5-14-25 – Warren High School athletes made their mark at the prestigious Arkansas Meet of Champions held in Searcy, with standout performances that placed them among the state’s elite.

Aria Hunt delivered a dominant showing in the 100-meter dash, claiming first place with an impressive time of 12.16 seconds. Hunt followed up that victory with a second-place finish in the 200-meter dash, crossing the line in 24.71 seconds.

Joining Hunt on the podium was fellow Warren athlete Azul Garcia, who secured third place in the 800-meter run. Garcia posted a time of 2:21.53 to earn her spot among the top middle-distance runners in Arkansas.

The Arkansas Meet of Champions is a premier track and field event that brings together the top performers from across the state, giving athletes a chance to compete head-to-head after the conclusion of their regular season.
