Re-New-ing Edinburg Donates $1,500 to Local Fire Department

NEW EDINBURG, Ark. – Re-New-ing Edinburg expressed its appreciation to the New Edinburg Volunteer Fire Department by donating $1,500 during the department’s regular fire drill on Monday, June 2.

The donation came from proceeds raised during Re-New-ing Edinburg’s participation in the spring Great South Arkansas Junk Hunt. The fundraiser was made possible thanks to generous community donations of items to sell.

Re-New-ing Edinburg extended thanks to the entire New Edinburg Volunteer Fire Department and to the community for supporting both the department and the organization.

Those present for the donation included firemen Logan Shaw, John Mills, Will Reaves, Jeremy Saeler, Fire Chief James Gill, Kaleb Parker (standing on the truck), and Dean Bowen (kneeling). Representing Re-New-ing Edinburg were Martha Tolano, president; Brenda Triplett; Don Triplett; Roger McClellan; and Luis Tolano.
