WARREN, Ark. — The Warren School District will host an informational session for parents and grandparents on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2026, aimed at helping families better understand the challenges children face in today’s digital world.
The presentation, titled “Keeping Kids Safe Online: Brains, Bots, and Boundaries,” will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Warren Elementary School.
Dr. Robin Finley, an educator with more than 37 years of experience, will lead the session, offering guidance on protecting children as they navigate the internet and digital technology.
The presentation will address several important topics, including social media, gaming, online communication, and digital safety. The goal is to provide parents and grandparents with information and practical knowledge to help keep children safe online.
Due to the nature of the presentation, the district recommends that only parents attend. However, STEM activities will be available for K-12 students whose parents need to bring them to the event.
Supper will be provided beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Parents are encouraged to RSVP through their child’s school, although registration is not required to attend.
The event is part of the district’s efforts to help families navigate the increasingly complex digital environment and promote safe online habits among students.
