Wilmar Juneteenth Association Set to Host Family-Friendly June Dinner 2025 Celebration

WILMAR, Ark. – The Wilmar Juneteenth Association is gearing up to present its annual June Dinner celebration, taking place June 19 through June 22, 2025, on South 7th Street in Wilmar, Arkansas. The multi-day event promises fun for the entire family, with free entry, live entertainment, bounce houses, a parade, and gospel music.

The festivities begin Thursday, June 19, with a sunset bonfire accompanied by music from DJ Smooth, setting the tone for the weekend’s community-centered activities.

On Friday night, June 20, the excitement continues with a performance by LJ Echols on the main stage at 9:00 p.m. Food trucks and vendors will also open at noon on Friday, offering a variety of eats and treats for attendees.

Saturday, June 21, is packed with events, starting with the parade at 1:00 p.m. down South 7th Street. A Recognition Ceremony follows at 3:00 p.m., followed by an Up & Coming Talent Show at 6:00 p.m. Singer Gwendolyn White takes the stage at 7:00 p.m., and the evening concludes with G. Pace performing on the main stage at 9:00 p.m.

The celebration wraps up Sunday, June 22, with a Father & Son Gospel Concert on the main stage at 6:00 p.m., providing a powerful and heartfelt close to the weekend’s festivities.

Throughout the event, families can enjoy bounce houses, kids’ activities, and continued music from Gary Wilson Productions. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the positive atmosphere.
