WARREN, Ark. – At the conclusion of this year’s Pink Tomato Festival Quilt Show, the winning ticket for the Block Builders Quilt was held by Jodi Raines. Jodi, herself a quilter, had contributed blocks to this year’s quilt which depicted shelves of canned tomatoes.

Designed and pieced by the Bradley Block Builders Quilt Club, the quilt was hand quilted by the Pleasant Valley Hand Quilters and prominently displayed at the quilt show held at the Donald W. Reynolds YMCA during the festival.

Winning a cash prize from the Block Builders for Viewers’ Choice, was Emily Geels, a relatively new quilter. This was a first-time prize given by the quilting club to the creator of the quilt receiving the most votes from the viewers.

Bradley Block Builders Quilt Club is a project club of the Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service with membership open to anyone interested in fabric arts.
