Linda Lucille Atkins, age 82, of Banks, AR passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Bradley County Memorial Hospital in Warren, AR. She was born on January 16, 1943 in Malvern, AR to the late Carnell Davis and Edith Rowland Davis. Linda was a retired bookkeeper from the Southeast Arkansas Human Development Center in Warren, AR having been employed there for 23 years.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, John S. Payne who passed away in 1985; brothers, Mickie Davis and Bo Davis.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving husband, Michael Atkins of Banks, AR whom she married on October 26, 1986; sons, Tim Payne and spouse Margie of Warren, AR, Jerry Payne and spouse Felecia Payne of Warren, AR and Randy Atkins of Camden, AR; daughters, Amy Douglas and spouse Brian of Malvern, AR, Juli Reep of Warren, AR and Rhonda Harton and spouse Terry of Prairie Grove, AR; sisters, Colene Haynes and spouse Bill of Malvern, AR and Kathy Hall of Malvern, AR; along with a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Frazer’s Funeral Home. All arrangements are by Frazer’s Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to Carti or St. Jude.
