WARREN, Ark. – Thomas C. Brunson Elementary has introduced a new after-school program this year—the Brunson Bass Busters Fishing Club.
The group, made up of students excited to learn the basics of fishing, will be meeting throughout the year to gain hands-on experience and enjoy time outdoors. Faculty members say the club is designed to give students opportunities beyond the classroom, building patience, teamwork, and an appreciation for the natural world.
While the rods and reels haven’t hit the water just yet, the Bass Busters are already looking forward to sharing plenty of “tall tales” as they begin their fishing adventures this school year.
