Summer Crisis Assistance Program Closing September 30

WARREN, Ark. – The Southeast Arkansas Community Action Corporation (SEACAC) has announced that the FY 2025 Summer Crisis Assistance Program will officially close on September 30, 2025. After that date, the organization will no longer accept applications for crisis assistance.

This program provides emergency utility assistance to eligible households in several counties across Southeast Arkansas. The closure applies to residents in Ashley, Bradley, Chicot, Desha, and Drew counties.

The announcement was made by Carolyn Davis, LIHEAP Program Director, in a release issued September 25.

Residents with questions or concerns are encouraged to call SEACAC at 870-226-2668 or 870-820-5196 for more information.
