BANKS, Ark. – Banks Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle accident and fire around 5 p.m. Saturday, September 13, at 1360 County Road 1.
According to information released by the Town of Banks, a FedEx delivery truck turned out in front of an oncoming pickup truck. The collision sent the FedEx truck into a nearby yard, where it ignited. The fire resulted in a total loss of both vehicles and caused significant damage to a home.
The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call along with Bradley County Rural Fire Department.
Authorities reported that, despite the extensive damage, no injuries occurred.
