Landen lived life with a big smile, a kind heart, and an easygoing spirit that drew people in. Known for his love of music, cars, and mud riding — often taking his own car just for the fun of it — he found joy in the simple things. He loved hunting, fishing, baseball, and spending time with his family, especially as a proud new dad. His sense of humor and quick wit made him the life of the party, the class clown who could make anyone laugh, yet he carried a gentle and respectful nature that touched everyone he met. He loved holidays and being surrounded by his large extended family.

Faith was the foundation of his life; he was a prayer warrior who believed deeply and lived out his faith through kindness, generosity, and love. He loved deeply and gave selflessly. He was down to earth and genuine — what you saw was what you got. His kindness and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He had a heart of gold and a smile that could brighten anyone’s day, and everyone who knew him felt lucky to have had him in their lives. Those who were blessed to know him will forever remember the warmth, laughter, and love he shared so freely. He was many things to many people, but his greatest role was being a Daddy to Colby Cooper.

He is survived by his mother, Maria, his son, Colby Cooper, significant other, Righley Williams, sister, Hazel Robbins, brother, Brantlee Rice, stepfather, Zane Robbins, maternal grandparents Jason & Mary Johnston (Mim), paternal grandparents Allen & Melissa Rice (Papaw and Memaw). Along with his immediate family, he is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever remember his kind heart and joyful spirit.

He is preceded in death by his father, Colby Rice, and a number of treasured family members who were waiting to greet him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28 6:00 to 8:00 pm, and the funeral will be on Wednesday, October 29 at 2 pm, both at Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Hermitage. Pallbearers are Jeremy Ayers, Josi Ayers, Righley Williams, Jay Mann, Daniel Beck, Caleb Weymouth, Andrew Stueve, and Maddox Crow. Honorary pallbearers are Zane Robbins, Travis Knuckles, Matt Johnston, Jacob Johnston, Blaine Howard, Dylan Johnson, Steve Ayers, Lain Millard, and JR Rice.
