Clifton Carrol Stanton, 1939-2025

Clifton Carrol Stanton age 86, of Moro Bay, AR died Friday, November 28th, 2025 at the St Vincents Hospital in North Little, Rock, AR. He was born July 11th, 1939 in Douglasville, TX a son of the late Hewie Stanton and Bessie Deaton Stanton.  Clifton was a retired carpet layer, loved hog hunting, raising hog dogs, hunting and fishing and was Pentecostal in his faith.  Also preceding him in death was his son, Joseph Clifton Stanton September 20th, 2001, sisters Imojean Wortham and Bonnie Ragsdale and a grandchild, Tyler Gray.

Surviving is his wife, whom he married August 21st, 1960 Yanema Sasser Stanton, Jersey, AR. Daughters Carol Jean Patterson, Kingsland, AR, Rebecca Stanley, Jersey, AR, Pamela Stanton, Bearden, AR and Beverly Williams and spouse Bobby, Moro Bay, AR. Daughter-in-law, Michele Stanton Guernsey, Bivins, TX.  Brother, Eugean Stanton, Queen City, TX and sister Mary Rich, Queen City, TX. 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great- grandchild

Funeral services were 2:00PM Wednesday, December 3rd at Frazer’s Chapel. Burial in Marsden Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
