Re-New-ing Edinburg shared that “The lights are up thanks to the Wagnon family!!!” as the familiar holiday displays returned throughout the community. Many of the decorations include signs noting they are placed in memory of loved ones, a tradition that adds personal meaning to the seasonal lights and honors individuals who have been important to New Edinburg families.

The announcement was met with an outpouring of gratitude from the community.

“Looks so awesome!!!” wrote Randy Sanders.

Martha Cook added, “Thank to the Wagnons and the crew that helped. They look beautiful.”

Jessica Barrett said, “Thank yall so much! We look forward to the lights every year!”

Wanda Howard expressed her appreciation as well, saying, “Thank you so much for ALL YA’S HARD WORK!!!!”

With the lights now glowing across New Edinburg — each honoring a cherished memory or family — residents say the holiday season feels officially underway, thanks once again to the volunteers who help keep the tradition shining year after year.
