Bradley County 4-H Hosting Cereal Drive to Benefit Arkansas Foodbank

WARREN, Ark. — Bradley County 4-H is encouraging residents to help fight hunger locally by participating in a community cereal drive that will run from April 21 through June 1.

The food drive, organized by Bradley County 4-H through the Bradley County Extension Office, aims to collect breakfast items that will be donated to the Arkansas Foodbank. Organizers say the effort is focused on helping ensure families in need have access to a good start to the day.

Community members are asked to donate new, unopened boxes of cereal as well as other breakfast foods such as granola bars, toaster pastries, and oatmeal.

The collection goal is two boxes per person, though additional donations are welcomed.

Donations can be dropped off at the Bradley County Extension Office, located at 201 North Bragg Street in Warren.

Organizers say the drive is centered around a simple goal—helping make sure no one begins their day hungry.

For more information about the cereal drive, contact the Bradley County Extension Office at 870-226-8410.
