Floyd Burton Gavin, age 73 of Rye, AR passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, in Rye, AR. He was born on January 28, 1953, in Warren, AR to Juanita Foreman Gavin and the late Maurice Gavin. Floyd proudly served his county in the United States Air Force.
Other than his father he is preceded in death by his brother, Randy Gavin.
He is survived by his mother, Juanita Gavin of Rye, AR; son, Daniel Gavin and spouse Secret of Montana; brother, Dennis Gavin of Bradley County, AR; sister, Cathy Gavin Phillips of Rye, AR, two grandchildren, Liam Gavin and Rylan Gavin and a host of extended family members and friends.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Union Cemetery in Rye, AR. Burial will be in Union Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. until service time on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Union Cemetery.
