James Randall Doggett age 83 of Warren, AR passed to his heavenly home Thursday, March 26, 2026 at his home. He was born June 15, 1942 to the late Leonard Doggett and Mable Sweeney Doggett. James loved the Lord, his family and his Church. He was a life long faithful servant of Pleasant Valley Free Will Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for 58 years. James worked in the auto-repair business all of his working career. He was the previous owner of James Body and Glass shop in Warren, AR, and he served on the Hermitage School board for many years. He was also preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ed Doggett and his son Kevin Doggett.
James is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Harvey Doggett, whom he married June 23, 1963, two daughters, Tonja (Gary) Smith and Jamie (Bobby) Weaver all of Warren, AR. A brother Charles (Janis) Doggett, Warren, AR. His grandchildren Amy (JB) Duncan, Amber (Adam) Willis, Andrew Doggett, Avery (Ruthann) Weaver, Aidan (Jayden) Weaver, Asher Weaver, Arielle Weaver, Jake Duncan, Tuck Duncan, Paisley Duncan, Abigail Erdley, Axel Willis and Addilyn Willis.
Funeral service was held at 2:00PM Monday, March 30 at Pleasant Valley Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Ronnie Garrett and Bro. Anthony Williams officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Andrew Doggett, Avery Weaver, Aidan Weaver, Asher Weaver, Jake Duncan, Tuck Duncan, J.B. Duncan, and Adam Willis. Honorary pallbearers were Trapper Denton, Shannon Wilkinson, and Jackie Wagnon.
