Alice Louise Guest Scott, age 91 of Warren, AR went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 2, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 20, 1934, in Eudora, AR the daughter of the late O.V. Guest and Dorris Reynolds Guest. In her earlier years she was a member of First Baptist Church in Warren and then later a member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she faithfully served the Lord. Alice had a true servant’s heart and loved helping others. Throughout her lifetime she worked at various places, but one place that fit her best was when she worked at the Guest House as a CNA. She loved caring for each resident there and bonded with many making lifelong friendships. She loved spending time with others, but she especially loved spending time with her family. Alice enjoyed cross-stitch and crochet and reading; she started reading the Bible cover to cover each year starting in the 80s.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Harley Terry Scott, Jr., her sons, Terry Glen Scott and Harley Terry Scott, III “Pete”; and her sisters, Dorothy Spraggins, Frances Wolfe, and Sarah Guest.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Gregory Alan Scott and spouse Robin of Warren, AR; her daughter, Gaye Scott of Warren, AR; her beloved granddaughter, Marie Beverley; her bonus grandchildren, Cody King and Dana Herring, five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and her sister, Kathryn Simmons of Crestview, FL.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
