HERMITAGE, Ark. — The Hermitage Junior Boys Track and Field Team turned in a strong performance at the District 1A-8 meet, finishing as runner-up for the 2025-2026 season.
The Hermits showcased consistency and determination throughout the meet, earning enough points across multiple events to secure second place overall in the district standings. Their effort reflects a season of steady improvement and competitive drive.
According to the Hermitage School District, the team’s performance highlighted the athletes’ hard work and commitment, both in competition and in how they represented their school.
The runner-up finish caps off a successful season for the junior boys program and adds another accomplishment to Hermitage’s track and field tradition.
