HERMITAGE, Ark. — The Hermitage School District has announced Marisa Gardner as its Teacher of the Year for the 2025-2026 school year.
Gardner was recognized for her dedication, passion, and lasting impact on students and fellow educators throughout the district. According to the district, her commitment to excellence extends well beyond the classroom, helping to shape the minds and futures of students across the Hermitage community.
In a statement released Wednesday, the district praised Gardner for inspiring both her students and colleagues through her daily efforts and leadership.

The Teacher of the Year honor is awarded annually to an educator who demonstrates outstanding service, instructional excellence, and a strong commitment to student success.
