Roger Dale Massey

Roger Dale Massey, age 79, of Camden, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

Roger began his professional journey at the young age of 19 after completing cosmetology school. He later expanded his path into healthcare, where he started as a CNA, continued sharing his gift for hairstyling with residents, and steadily worked his way up to become Administrator of the assisted living facility in Warren, Arkansas. Along the way, he also worked as an in-home caregiver, providing compassionate care to those in need. His path into healthcare was deeply personal, as he lovingly cared for his mother until her passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Knight and James Burton Massey, his only brother, Bobby Gene Massey and his nephew, Christopher Massey.

Roger is survived by his sister-in-law, Vicki Massey of Camden, Arkansas; his nephew, Kelly Massey (Valerie) of Pensacola, FL; his niece, Holly Massey of Bossier City, LA; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Roger was a faithful attendee of Victory Church of Camden. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially spending time sitting on his front porch talking with neighbors and enjoying meals out with family and friends. He had a special gift for cooking and was well known for his delicious turnip greens and cornbread.  His favorite treat was a hot fudge sundae. Known for his kind spirit and warm personality, Roger was a man who was genuinely liked by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

A memorial service will be held at Victory Church in Camden, Arkansas. Service details, including date and time, will be announced soon.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Frazer Funeral Home and staff for their kindness, compassion, and the care with which they handled every detail.
