WARREN, Ark. — The Warren Branch Library is gearing up for its Summer Reading 2026 program with a fun and creative dinosaur-themed promotion designed to get the community excited ahead of the season.

In a recent social media post, the library invited residents to “come to the Warren Branch Library and get eaten by the dinosaur… if you dare,” encouraging visitors to participate in a lighthearted photo opportunity. The display features a large dinosaur mouth backdrop where participants can pose for pictures, adding an interactive element to the library’s summer kickoff efforts.

The promotion also includes a friendly contest element, with the library asking the public to help decide “whose picture gets the most likes,” further engaging the community online.

The Summer Reading Program is a yearly initiative aimed at encouraging children and families to stay engaged with reading during the summer months while school is out. Events and activities typically include themed programs, interactive displays, and opportunities for young readers to earn prizes.

Community members are encouraged to stop by the Warren Branch Library, take part in the dinosaur display, and follow along online as the library builds excitement for another season of summer reading.
