WARREN (4-29-26) — The Warren School District is closed Wednesday, April 29, after a significant thunderstorm moved through the area overnight, bringing heavy winds and causing a power outage in parts of the city.
A section of northern Warren remains without electricity as of 6:15 a.m. Wednesday morning, forcing the district to cancel classes for the day.
The storm, which passed through the area late Tuesday night into early Wednesday, produced strong winds that contributed to the outage. Utility crews are expected to continue working to restore service.
