Under the leadership of Ms. Jessica Johnson, WHS SkillsUSA Chapter Advisor and Criminal Justice Instructor, 10 outstanding students represented Warren High School with excellence at the Arkansas SkillsUSA State Leadership & Skills Conference 2026.
We are incredibly proud to share that our chapter was one of only three schools in Arkansas to advance to national consideration as a Model of Excellence after earning both the Quality Chapter Award and Gold Chapter of Distinction through the Chapter of Excellence Program.
A historic milestone for our school — Alejandro Chavez has become Warren High School’s first-ever SkillsUSA State Officer! He will represent both WHS and the state of Arkansas during the 2026–2027 school year as one of only seven student leaders elected through statewide delegate voting.

We also want to recognize Kayden Lewis, who competed in the highly competitive Criminal Justice contest. While he did not place this year, he represented our chapter with professionalism, determination, and pride. As one of our seven chapter officers, he played an important role in helping our chapter earn its overall honors, and we know he will come back even stronger next year.
While we were not selected as one of the 24 SkillsUSA chapters in the nation to be named a Model of Excellence this year, we are extremely proud and grateful for the honor of being one of only three schools in Arkansas to advance to national consideration. This achievement reflects the hard work, leadership, and dedication of our students and chapter throughout the year. We will take what we’ve learned, grow from the experience, and come back even stronger next year.
Ms. Johnson shares, “I couldn’t be more proud of these students and everything they’ve accomplished this year.”
