BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello women’s golf team finished tied for third in its 2026-27 season opener at the Central Region Fall Preview in Blue Springs, Missouri. UAM combined for a two-round team score of 610 (+34).
Nebraska Kearney took home the tournament title with a final team score of 1-under par (575), followed by Arkansas-Fort Smith in second at 20-over par (596). Arkansas-Monticello tied Augustana for third at 34-over par (610) and were the highest-finishing Great American Conference team in the 16-team field.
UAM opened the tournament with a team score of 308 (+20) before improving by six strokes in the final round, firing a 302 (+14).
Leading the Weevils, Renata Abad finished tied for seventh with a final score of 4-over par (148). Abad closed out the tournament with the best round of the week for UAM, firing a 2-under par 70 in the final round after carding a 78 (+6) in Round 1.
Tori Milton finished tied for 27th with a two-round score of 9-over par (153). Milton improved by seven strokes in the final round, shooting a 1-over par 73 after opening the tournament with an 80 (+8).
Kenzie McClenny finished tied for 30th with a final score of 10-over par (154). McClenny carded a 4-over par 76 in the second round after shooting a 78 (+6) in Round 1.
Faith Hendren finished tied for 34th with a two-round score of 11-over par (155). Hendren opened the tournament with an even-par 72 before closing with an 83 (+11) in the final round.
Nukul Kladkleep rounded out the UAM lineup, finishing tied for 68th at 21-over par (165). Kladkleep posted an opening-round 80 (+8) before carding an 85 (+13) in Round 2.
