HERMITAGE, Ark. — Hermitage High School students and staff took to the court May 1 for the school’s annual Seniors vs. Staff Basketball Game, a longstanding tradition that celebrates the graduating class.

According to a post from the Hermitage School District, the staff came out on top in what was described as a fun and competitive matchup. The game featured a mix of lighthearted moments, big plays, and strong community support, with students, faculty, and spectators filling the gym.

The event serves as a sendoff for seniors while also giving staff members a chance to participate alongside students in a more relaxed setting. Photos shared by the district showed full stands, group celebrations, and game action throughout the contest.

School officials noted the game remains a meaningful tradition and a memorable way to recognize the senior class each year.
